A: Complete College Prospects is a high school media and promotion company. We showcase and rate student-athletes not solely on their athletic talent but also on the student's college readiness. The goal is to provide coaches with an in-depth look at a recruit.
A: The NCAA Eligibility Center certifies prospective student-athletes for Division I/II to confirm they are eligible to play. They review your academic transcript to ensure you have met the educational standards and requirements while reviewing your amateur status with no professional experience.
A: An NCAA eligibility number is required for prospective student-athletes looking to compete at the Division I or Division II level. The eligibility process ensures that a high school student-athlete can compete in the NCAA at the start of their freshman year.
A: No. If you plan on playing at the Division III level, it is recommended that you create a profile to obtain an NCAA ID.
A: Visit https://web3.ncaa.org/ecwr3/ to start the process.
A: The NCAA has an eligibility center on Twitter @ncaaec. You will find the latest updates and tips to stay on track with your eligibility.
A: Complete College Prospects will allow middle school student-athletes to create profiles but will not go through our rating process until high school. We will feature them as student-athletes on our radar.
A: There is no fee to be rated by Complete College Prospects. Creating your online profile is a one-time setup fee of $24.99. We provide free information and media promotion for every athlete registered.
A: The 10/7 rule is that a student-athlete must complete 10 of the 16 NCAA-approved core courses by the start of your 7th semester, including 7 in English, Math, or Science.
A: Student-athletes can visit a coach on that coach’s campus at any time but must pay their way. This type of visit is an unofficial visit and is a big part of the recruiting process.
A: Beginning July 1, 2023, recruits will no longer have a limit on the number of official visits they can make to NCAA D1 schools. Previously, recruits were only allowed to visit five D1 schools. This means D1 recruits will now have the opportunity to explore more schools before making their commitment decision.
A: Yes! Having a highlight video piques the interest of coaches. Coaches usually attend events or games with a specific list of recruits for their second and third evaluations.
A. That depends on you, the athlete, and your parents. We will provide you with the pathway towards getting recruited if you are taking care of your performance in and outside your sport.
